My spouse is on H4 currently. Have applied for H1 in April 2007 and got the H1 aproved. So the new H1 starts on Oct 2007. However, we applied for 485 and got our EAD's (No recept number, No finger printing etc).
Can my spouse use EAD to start job? we dont want use that new H1 currently. What are the implications if we use EAD? Will the H1 (and my H1) be effected?

Status: Labor & I-140 approved
EB2: Labor got approved November 2009.
I'm trying to file 1-140 amendment with EB3 priority date. Currently i'm thinking of going with Sheela Murthy/Rajiv Khanna,

Hi everyone:
Can someone suggest if I'm in a hot water over this issue. My company applied for the labor certification back in Dec. 2002. In the Labor Certification form they quoted 40 for the "Total hours per week". The LC was approved back in July of 2007. Later in Sept. of 2007 we filed I-140 and I-485 concurrently.
In April of this year my company received an RFE for the I-140, where USCIS requested some additional translations and my W-2 forms for all the years of my employment. We've responded to it.
So here's my question. Since 2002 my working schedule changed and now I work 32 hours per week, that is different than 40, which was included in the LC. It doesn't say anywhere in my W-2's, but one can easily see that I'm being paid less by doing some simple math.
Do you think this would pose a problem and if so, what shall I do at this point?

Yes, with out a backup up of big institutions(this case MIT) this dream or idea would have just lived like any wish or it would have taken 3 or 4 times longer.

Can the IV core group can come up with the webfax to explain our reasonable concerns (to educate the Title V of Senate bill) to all members of congress (House and Senate Members)? Hi, I was wondering how long it is going to take me to get my citizenship. I received my permanent residency when I was 17. I was told I could have gotten my citizenship then but since I married a military personnel I wasn't sure if I was still eligible. Can I get my citizenship now because I received my "green card" under age or would I still have to wait 3 years being married to a U.S Citizen? Can I get my citizenship faster being married to a military personnel?
